Design disruptors is presented by INVISION. It's a documentary film that talks about design, what do people think it was and what it could actually do.
Different people have different insights and understanding of it. However, most of them agree that create something MEANINGFUL but not just good looking.
Maurice Woods thinks design as a natural form of life. It is something that allows us to be able to create and develop and innovate things within our own ecosystem of life.
Alex Castellarnau thinks design is that thin layer as a bridge that connects complexity with meaning. It is like on one side we have something very complex, it could be a technology, could be a system, could be anything.
Jenny Arden thinks design is human. We're not artificially creating something just for the sake of it, but it stems from something that people actually need and want. It's not about pretty or not, it's more about the connection we have to it.
Julie Zhou thinks design is not about nitty-gritty/pixels/tools. It's the act of intentionally solving problems.
Mike Davidson thinks it really takes a monumental step of improvement in order to get somebody to change the way that they're already living their lives. Once someone created something that is truly disruptive, that is a way different and way better, people will notice it and it's only a matter of time before a lot of people notice it and start using it.
DISRUPTION IS THE BYPRODUCT OF IMPROVISATION
As designers, really what all we're doing is reflecting the world. As the world changes, the things that matter changes too.

In design, we have to make sense.
Dantley Davis thinks what makes great design is the design that's transparent, design that we 're not thinking about design that simply works, that get outta the way, design that's not full of itself.

Joshua Taylor thinks it's not that good design's completely invisible think that it's, it makes us feel a certain way.
