Design Inspiration

At last week,we had done 2 small activities which are alternative uses and sketches out the incomplete figures in class.These activities are to challenge the way that how we think in a limited time,and try to break down our limiting thoughts.

In the alternative uses activity,we are given 2 common objects and we are required to list as many possible uses as we can. I've been limited by their general use at the beginning.However,when we not just look at the name but other characteristic,we would be able to produce more unique ideas and unpredictable use for the items.

In the next activity,we are given 3 sheets of paper which just have few unconnected lines on the paper.What we need to do is to complete the drawings through connect the line that inside the boxes.Normally,people would started by thinking about something that they had recently touched,so do I.

This is the first paper we given,there are unconnected lines in 18 boxes.We just need to connect the lines as box between box no need to be connected.And we can jumped to the next when we are unable to think it out yet and we can completed them after all.

For me,this one is harder than the first one as they are all the same and I've to continue when I was stuck.

This one is similar with the first one,just without the boxes.But it becomes harder because this one need to connect all the lines together.

This activities help me develop my ability to think creatively and highlights how we can generate a wide range of answers and solutions to a single problem.In conclusion,think outside the box is very important.
